This year, we are proud to announce our inclusion on the prestigious list, taking 21st place in the small employer (15-99 U.S. employees) category. The inclusion on the list marks the eighth year in a row that the company has been recognized as one of the state’s best companies to work for.

The yearly list is announced by Best Companies Group, an independent research firm that is dedicated to “identifying and recognizing great places to work”.  Through their research and employee feedback, they make their decisions and award the companies accordingly.

The publication ranks businesses in different categories each year, and this year we are thrilled to note that we made #9 on the list of Best Marketing and Advertising agencies in Austin.

Cloud[8]Sixteen, Inc. is proud to announce its inclusion on the Austin Business Journal’s “Fast 50” Fastest Growing Companies in Austin list. For the second year in a row, our company was ranked on the publication’s list of fastest growing companies (under $10M in revenue). This year, Cloud[8]Sixteen, Inc., which includes the business units of The Search Engine Guys, Ngage Live, and Big Momma Apps found itself in the #16 spot on the list.

Other companies included on the list include Adlucent, EB Quickstart, and Kendra Scott Design, Inc. Members of the Cloud Family attended the awards ceremony on Thursday, October 18th at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center. As a group, we would like to thank the Austin Business Journal for continually recognizing the hard work of companies in Austin and we are very proud of our inclusion on this prestigious list.

Cloud[8]Sixteen ranked among the Fastest Growing Companies in America for the 2^nd Year in a row!

Digital marketing firm Cloud[8]Sixteen has placed 887th overall and 93rdin the Advertising and Marketing Industry on Inc 5000’s ranking of the fastest growing private companies in America.  A fact made even more impressive when you consider that there are nearly 7 million private, employer-based companies in the United States.  This does not necessarily come as a surprise though, as Cloud[8]Sixteen has added 48 jobs in the past three years and nearly quintupled its revenue from $1.4 million in 2008 to $6.6 million in 2011.

This is the second year in a row that Cloud[8]Sixteen has made the list, a truly amazing feat based on how Inc calculates growth.  Last year, looking at the company’s 2007-2010 revenue, Cloud[8]Sixteen achieved the rank of 167.

Some other companies that have appeared on Inc’s list include Microsoft, Zappos, Oracle, Pandora, and Under Armour.  In truth, many of this country’s most successful companies received their first national recognition when they appeared on the Inc 5000 list.

In order to qualify for the honors, a company must be privately-held (without being a division or subsidiary of another company), and should be able to show at least four calendar-years’ worth of sales. In addition, the company must have made at least $200,000 in the first calendar year and must be able to show at least $2 million dollars in revenue in the most recent year.

This year, Cloud[8]Sixteen, Inc. was ranked #9 on the list, alongside other Austin contemporaries like GSD&M, T3, Enviromedia, and others.

We’re very excited to announce that, for the 3rd year in a row, Cloud[8]Sixteen, Inc., has been listed as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work for in Texas. Each year, we ask our team members to complete the Best Companies Group’s two-part survey and employee questionnaire to review their experiences here at Cloud[8]Sixteen, Inc. The Best Companies Group then takes all of the surveys and ranks all participating companies according to the responses.

Several of our management team members attended the  awards luncheon, held by the Texas Association of Business, here in Austin on February 2, 2012. All 100 companies named on the list were recognized. We’re happy to celebrate being named on the list again this year and look forward to what 2012 holds in store for Cloud[8]Sixteen, Inc.
